Pretoria: President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced changes to the National Executive, in accordance with section 91(3)(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
According to South African Government News Agency, President Ramaphosa has appointed Mr. Willem Abraham Stephanus Aucamp as the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment. This appointment led to the removal of Dr. Dion George from the portfolio, as per section 91(2) of the Constitution. Additionally, Ms. Alexandra Lilian Amelia Abrahams has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition, in alignment with section 93(1)(a) of the Constitution.
In a brief statement, President Ramaphosa extended his best wishes to Mr. Aucamp and Ms. Abrahams as they assume their new roles within the National Executive.
