Addis Ababa, The Ministry of Labor and Skills has launched today three digital products designed to facilitate labor market, enterprise, and competency assessment services.
The Ministry developed Lucy E-commerce, COC system and Bequ Apps in partnership with pertinent government institutions.
The digital platforms are developed by domestic resources and significantly contribute to the digitalization of Ethiopia.
The web and app based Lucy E-commerce platform is mainly believed to benefit Small and Medium Enterprises business activities.
The Bequ App is expected to improve Ethiopian labor market information while the COC Automation system strengthens competency assessment services.
The platforms were launched by Minister of Labor and Skills Muferiat Kamil, Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Gebremeskel Challa and Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute Director-General Werku Gachena.
Minister of Labor and Skills Muferiat Kamil said on the occasion that the applications are instrumental to support ongoing efforts to realizing the strategy of digital Ethiopia.
