Addis Ababa, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Ambassador Mesganu Arga, held discussions with the outgoing UNDP Representative ,Turhan Saleh at his office today.
During the discussion, Ambassador Mesganu said the government of Ethiopia attaches a great importance to the relation it has with the UNDP and recognized the UN organ’s role in capacity building of different institutions in the country.
The sate minister also appreciated Turhan’s personal leadership whilst working in capacity building of different institutions during the last four and half years in Ethiopia and wished him success on his future endeavors.
Turhan on his part said that it has been an honor to have served in Ethiopia and highlighted that the UNDP has been working closely with National Electoral Board, National Dialogue Commission and National Rehabilitation Commission in capacity building.
The relation between UNDP and Ethiopian government is relevant and reliable, he added.
