SANDRINGHAM – Members of SAPS Sandringham apprehended a 32-year-old suspect on Monday, 07 March 2022 following a business robbery that took place at a construction company in Sandringham.
A preliminary report suggests seven armed suspects allegedly gained entry to a construction company premises on Sunday night, 06 March 2022 and allegedly attacked two on-duty security guards. The suspects baited construction materials and equipment with an estimated worth of R2-million and fled the scene.
The two security guards were untied the following morning and the business robbery incident was reported to the police. Members of SAPS Sandringham swiftly followed up on all available leads which led to the apprehension of a suspect. Further investigation is underway.
The SAPS Sandringham Station Commander, Colonel Sanet Williams applauded the members for their quick response in apprehending a suspect linked to the business robbery incident.
